DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Mix with grain according to Silver Moon Complete Feed Formulas. To obtain maximum production from genetically superior cows, the use of a 16% protein grain mix is recommended. when using shelled corn, mix 450 lbs. of Dairy Mixer Special with 1,550 lbs. shelled corn. Any molasses used in a ration should be counted as grain.
Fed the complete 16% dairy ration according to quality of roughage and production per cow. Under normal conditions with good quality roughage, feed:
Jersey - 1 lb. feed per 2 lbs. of milk
Guernsey - 1 lb. feed per 2.5 lbs. of milk
Holstein - 1 lb. feed per 3 lbs. of milk
When good quality roughage is not available, additional pounds of a Silver Moon dairy ration must be fed. Keep fresh water and Silver Moon Mineral before cows at all times.
